Owner Profile
Viviana Campbell
Viviana Campbell brings a vibrant professional background to her role as owner of Beehive Co-op’s flagship Atlanta retail store. Campbell purchased Beehive Co-op Atlanta in October 2007 to foster Beehive’s mission – to nurture the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of emerging local designers and artists – in Atlanta and the Southeast. Her 10 years of corporate marketing, event planning, and business development experience were honed at Delta Air Lines and the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.
Campbell applies a keen eye for design, a passion for art, and knack for business to curate an exceptional selection of professionally handcrafted fashion, accessories, art and home decor at Beehive Atlanta. A loyal customer of Beehive since it was opened by Beehive Industries, LLC president and founder Petra Geiger in 2004, Campbell always envisioned owning her own boutique and plans to continue cultivating Beehive Atlanta as a regional epicenter for the most exciting emerging local designers and artists.
“The first time I stepped into the Beehive Atlanta store I was inspired by how fresh and exclusive everything was,” said Campbell. “It felt as if I was walking through a gallery of unique and precious pieces as opposed to a retail store. I bought Beehive because I knew it was at the forefront of a new shopping experience, one that invigorates the local economy, supports independent designers, and draws both locals and non-locals to a destination with the latest in art, fashion and craft in the region.”
Viviana, 34, grew up just north of Milan Italy, where fashion and art is part of the culture and everyday life. She has a strong appreciation for fashion, art and craftsmanship, not only as a jewelry designer but also as the daughter of a self-taught fine furniture craftsman. She moved to Atlanta in 1993 to study, met her husband Jim and in 1996 moved to London to begin a marketing career in Europe. In 2000, the Campbell family returned to Atlanta and a year later her son James, her “amore,” was born.
