Beehive is a co-operative retail concept that is "local by design." Beehive offers its communities unique, modern, handmade items by emerging local and regional designers who rent boutique space for a nominal fee in return for their help running the store. Each Beehive Co-op expresses a shared brand identity yet each designer's "boutique" within the store allows them the autonomy to merchandise and market their own lines. Online, beehiveShop.com provides designers a dynamic new outlet for their products and offers customers a curated shopping experience with exquisitely crafted clothing, accessories, and decor.
Creative entrepreneurship
The creative process for independent designers can often be isolating.
