BeehiveShop.com is the latest addition to the concept.
We've had an online store for a number of years but operationally it never quite fit in with the concept. With some critical rethinking and a partnership with a company called ShopVisible we've been able to create an online store that works much like a brick and mortar co-op.
In essence, beehiveShop.com features a carefully chosen selection of the most exceptional in independent design from about 200 designers invited to participate in the online community. Designers are given the autonomy to market, brand and merchandise their products on the beehiveShop.com platform and create connections with new customers through this online marketplace.
